The Australian College of Neonatal Nurses (ACNN) is the national organisation for nurses and midwives working in neonatal care as clinicians, as neonatal educators, neonatal researchers and managers of neonatal units, established in 1992 as the Australian Association of Neonatal Nurses (ANNA). Originally a federated organisation of state-based associations, in 2012 ACNN amalgamated into one national association incorporated in NSW.

ACNN is committed to maintaining the highest standards in clinical practice, education and research; promoting and sustaining a philosophy of family-centred and individualised care for infants and their families; advancing the welfare of Australian families, recognising the particular needs of disadvantaged and vulnerable groups; working with other national and international bodies to extend and enhance the quality of clinical practice, education and research activities, and; maintaining a rewarding environment for the neonatal nursing community through advocating for advancing professional practice within the context of complex and evolving systems of healthcare provision.
