Established in 1975, The Australian Nurse Teachers’ Society has catered for the professional interests of nurse teachers. Initially established in New South Wales, the Society now has branches across Australia providing networks for all nurse educators.

The Society brings together nurse clinicians, nurse specialists, and academics involved in education, all with a common aim to improve the quality and delivery of education to nurses. ANTS main aims are to promote and support educators of nurses and advocate for nurse educators in political and professional arenas.

The Society provides open days and education forums, research and study grants, support for conference attendance, sponsorship of conferences, and the opportunity to meet and network with other teachers.
